Haji P "Monkey Junk" now available!
Haji P (of Wilmington, NC) and his mystery machine beat team from the UK, Fatman & Tropical come together for the first of many. The collaborative have never spoke, shook hands or even seen each other outside of web profiles, and yet managed to put together a haphazardly entertaining EP. Haji P (of Brown Co. & Rec League) delivers humorously clever lyrics with an ineptly amusing flow, while FM&T offer fun, speaker thumping beats to compliment. A hodge-podge of efforts took place in creating this EP. Even the cover-art was designed through a web connection (Diamond P. Paris, France.) The gritty basement sound of the EP, along with "free-written" raps and process of production is what begged this collection of whimsical rap songs to be titled "Monkey Junk!"
Tracklisting: 1. Monkology intro 2. The Happs 3. Chocolate Drink 4. What Can We Learn? (interlude) 5. Say What 6. Chilltown 7. Rapper Talk 8. Junkie (interlude) 9. Shoot the Breeze 10. Dopemakers 11. Quarter Water 12. Tropical Monkey (interlude)

Meet the Artist: Haji P
 1. Please introduce yourself? Hi, my name is Haji P...and I'm freakin' incredible.
2. From where? I just recently moved to California, but I'm from Wilmington, NC.
3. Music influences? The muppet show, Cosby Kids, Coco B. Ware, racism, and all of my friends that rap better than me.
4. Debut appearance? Fifth grade, son! I cold ROCKED a talent show. My teachers were so blown away. But, I guess what counts is the North Carolina mixtapes put out by DJ Battle and Louis T. I was featured along with some of NC's top rated talents.
5. What have you released so far? "Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" w/ Brown Co., "Monkey Junk" w/ Fatman & Tropical, "Not Felt" w/ Stranger Day and a googly-billion mix tapes and tour cd's nobody cares about.
6. Do you produce? Nope, I'm probably the only rapper in the world that doesnt. Too many buttons, gadgets and gizmos for me. I'll take my pen and pad thank you very much!
7. Best moment for you in hip hop? Good grief, I dont know...this chick once threw her panties at me while I was on stage. That was pretty cool. She was standing next to my mom in the audience when she did it tho. That was a little awkward.
8. Any plans for a tour in the near future? Absolutely, homeboy! We (Rec League, Ostrich Head and The Saurus) are working on the "Cheap Date Tour, pt2" right now. Im fairly confident it'll be the best show you've ever seen in your life...and if not, Im sorry for lying to you. I'm a horrible person.
9. What's next? I'm finishing up my first solo LP, "Neighborhood Kid." with Brown Co. producer, MF Shalem.
10. Shout outs? Brown Co., Rec League, Fatman & Tropical (drinky drink, boyos!), Concice, Uncharted, Gorillafist, Balcony crew, Stranger Day, Joey Etc, Stix, Rhymewise, Irish Pat & Canadian Sean, O-Head, Ashkon, Niner, DJ Battle, Bigg B & Sandra, North Cack, etc...and God bless all the little kids in the sweatshops.
Haji P w/ Fatman & Tropical "Monkey Junk" will be available July 22nd on Domination Recordings!

Meet the Artist: Franky the Fly
 1. Please introduce yourself? Francis Quintino better know as Franky the Fly.
2. From where? Brockton, Massachusetts !!!
3. Music influences? I'm gonna be here a while if i mention them all... But from the top of my head: Company Flow, Aesop, Anticon, Das Efx, Wu tang, Johnny Cash, Slug, Krs One, El-P etc.....
4. Debut appearance? Well my first mix tape was with my band Kofy (Dj ice.9 El Grillo and myself) it crawled threw the streets for a brief period of time.
5. What have you released so far? On my own this is going to be first release but i have participated in a few mix tapes in the producers seat making beats for local rappers in Brockton and Lisbon some of them had more impact than others but nothing really that big.
6. Do you produce? My Favorite thing in the World! I honestly didn't really think that much about production for a long time... I was more a freestyle junkie. When i moved over seas the only way to stay active was to produce on my own, seeing that i didn't have the luxury of a producer or a DJ.
7. Best moment for you in hip hop? Wow... most of my favorite moments happened in Europe. Mostly going to parties where people aren't really expecting Hip hop and i manage to get them all going nuts! its a power trip! And when legends from back in the States come out here (Q-bert, Craze etc..) making it more accessible for me to watch them up close and hangout with them after shows.
8. Any plans for a tour in the near future? Well I'm trying to hook something up with fellow crew members Hazard One, and DJ Unite and record an album.
9. What's next? Seeing its the summer I want to rock as many clubs and parties possible to promote "Lord of the Flies".
10. Shout outs? Hmmmmm ok here we go!! Dj Ice.nine El Grilo, Hazard One, Christy,Talk-syk, Dj Unite, Mr Cheeks, Mr. Mute, Dr. Ki, Dj Nokin, Madsea, Rodas, Mocada, Pyte, Pimenta...... and most importantly The Third Rail Crew! and everyone who has supported me threw these rough times trying to be a rock star!
Franky the Fly's "Lord of the Flies" coming soon on Domination Recordings!

Rob Swift continues his relentless pursuit of fresh directions, expanding his palette into the stratosphere. He recently released "As the Tables Turn", a full length documentary DVD about his career from the past to the present. And after 4 years of finding himself as a solo artist, Rob Swift is once again joining forces with old X comrades Total Eclipse and Precision. They've formed a new DJ super group called ILL INSANITY and they're currently working on their debut album. One would think Rob Swift has enough on his plate but it doesn't stop there. His latest project, "Dust To Dust", is a full length CD that pays homage to the B-Boy movement of the 1970's. According to Rob Swift, "Dust To Dust" is his way of "bringing YOU back to the purest form of Hip Hop."

Meet the Artist: Storm the Unpredictable
 1. Welcome back, how's everything? Everythings cool. Busy, but in a good way. Summers are always like that for me.
2. You have the new Digital single coming up, what can you tell us about that? The new digital single features two of my favorite tracks off of the album, Please Forgive Me and All About. I'm excited that Domination decided to release them, especially Please Forgive Me because I had to go through a lot to get that track, LOL. It was a track that Unknown had but had given to someone else, but I was like I HAVE to have that track because it fit perfectly with what I had in mind. Hopefully others will enjoy it as well as listen to what I have to say in the song.
3. On the new single, you have remixes from The Unknown & Brainstorm Sounds. How did those remixes come together? Well, those are two of my favorite producers or production teams and the beats that were used were tracks I received during the making of A2 but I did not have any songs to put with them. Over time while listening to the tracks over and over again I just felt like I had to do something with them. Those were two songs that I really wanted to release. I started doing the lyrics over the new tracks, and they just fit. It gave the songs a different type of feel, but not a wrong type of feel so I went with them. Plus now I can perform them at shows without slowing the pace of the show down.
4. During the release of "A2" you were doing some things with VH1, can you fill the fans in on that? I was one of the Freestyle 59 competition finalists that got flown to NY, did commercials, did ring tones, as well as hung out with and rhymed with Fat Joe (real cool dude too). They put everything up on their web-site and played the commercials on the VH1 which was a real good look. Over all even though I did not win the whole competition it was a great experience. Mush respect to Shadcore, Mercury Storm, Neuse, and Loc da Realist.
5. Any new guest appearances to look out for? As of now, no. I'm just really focusing on getting things together for the next project. Hopefully I will get on a couple Priest da nomad cuts as well as POEMCEES. Oh yeah, can't forget about Lady Lethal. She got at me as well so hopefully that will come about.
6. Who have you been working with on production for your new recordings? As of now I'm working with The Unknown and Kev Strange for the first single. The rest of the project is still in it's infancy stages so nothing has really been laid down with anyone.
7. Best moment for you in hip hop most recently? Honestly, there really hasn't been one so hopefully something will come along soon. I feel like we're in a dry spell.
8. Any plans for a tour in the near future? I'm mainly focusing on getting into festivals. As many across the country as I can.
9. What's next? Just laying down a landscape for the album. I don't want to record something just for the sake of recording. I want to make sure it has a purpose so the whole atmosphere around the album has to be right.
10. Shout outs? Domination recordings, SPP Waxworks, LaStreet Promotions, Urban Intalek Studios, Ty-Riek, Xavier, Priest da nomad, POEMCEES, all the producers who have blessed with me tracks over the years, all who have bought/downloaded my music or video, and the whole MD/DC/VA area.
Storm the Unpredictable's new Digi-12 "Please Forgive Me" is now available!
