Sci-FI Stu is a producer from Edinburgh in Scotland, he has been beat making for 2 years, and has been a musician and promoter for around 10 years. Influenced by the 'golden era' sound SciFi got into hip hop through a friend around 1990 and enjoyed listening to Public Enemy, EPMD, Wu Tang Clan and all those classic sounds while growing up.

Working with Tha Connection, Ill Poetix, Prolifical and a number of other emerging US hip hop artists SciFi has started to make his own path to the consciousness of Hip Hop fans with radio play on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix to The Ready Cee Show in New York.

Sci has also recently been tipped for big things in 2010 by BBC Radio 1 DJ Vic Galloway, here's what Vic had to say...

"Already one of my tips for 2010, SciFi Stu is one of a clutch of Scottish Hip-Hop and electronica producers teaming up with US MC's over the net. His single 'The Will' has a real classic, slick, soul groove and is complimented by some great rappers. As well as producing SciFi also runs his own hip hop web label 'the Advantage Music Group' and has released 2 compilations of his favourite underground acts with thousands of downloads to date.

SciFi is currently working on his debut album with some of the artists mentioned above and a few surprise guests as well. Taking influence from a diverse range of music from Indie to Classical look out for the SciFi debut in 2010!
