Jack Flash Is...Dead?

A true student of the game, and lover of all musical genres, JACK FLASH IS...DEAD? has managed to cut, paste and combine the attributes of decorative artists ranging from: Sunspot Jonz (Living Legends), MF Doom, to Herbie Hancock. JACK FLASH IS…DEAD? began freestyling like most out of the love and respect of his California native city Downey back in the early 90’s, and though pre-teen at that point new this was his calling. Tragedy struck 2001, tired of not being able to express his true production dynamics, and unwilling to fall into the then growing booty- shaking, violent, non-creative era (which is now larger than ever) he called it quits only studying underground heavyweight the likes of Aceyalone, Living Legends, Atmosphere, Heiro and MF Doom to name a few.

As if a sign from God 6 years later he moved back to his hometown and linked up with then long time friend Cignaga, and fellow music enthusiast Lil Chewy and after massive amounts of negotiating then known as JACK FLASH began making songs with the two. After only two months JACK FLASH began a nice buzz around town and surrounding cities, but unfortunately some would say not the outsiders, but the insiders weren’t too please by this. In August of 07’ after being told it was "their way or die!" JACK FLASH parted ways and began a solo journey always carrying the parting words of one whom was a friend for fourteen years with him as his reminder to never give up, and what many know as his "I can rest when I’m dead" mentality.

While sleeping in his car he befriended Domination Recording artist "Understanding" who loved the sound, and suggested he contact D.J. Fisher president and co-founder of Domination Recordings. D.J. saw great potential and kept constant contact. In February of 08’ now going by the name of JACK FLASH IS…DEAD? (Most understand the meaning and significance now) began working on his debut album "FLASHBACKS" with minimal experience on Roland boards and Alesis sound modules from seven years prior he still went for the gusto using his unique ear and his secret weapon… his heart.

"FLASHBACKS" came along quite nicely catching praise from coast to coast, and catching the ear of one D.J. Fisher who at that point knew this kid was special, after only learning as he went, JACK FLASH IS...DEAD? managed to create an underground masterpiece in only three months! The future looks very bright for this rookie, with future projects highly anticipate such as "MYSPACE OR YOURS?" and "THE EGO HAS LANDED".

JACK FLASH IS...DEAD? is definitely an artist who is bringing the fun back to hip hop which the industry indie or major had been lacking for quite some time.
